Dr Bashar Shatta is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Aesthetic Medicine and Lead for Recruitment and Admissions at the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. He is a qualified general practitioner, skin surgeon, and aesthetic doctor with extensive experience. He obtained his medical degree from Damascus University in 2002, completed basic surgical training in 2009, and has been involved in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He is passionate about teaching and education, with significant involvement in training within the NHS and at Queen Mary University.
